Welcome to

The Den Wellness Collective

Our space.

We have intentionally designed our space to move away from the traditional clinical environment, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that feels like a safe, nurturing home for healing. Our goal is to provide a comfortable, supportive setting where individuals can relax, recharge, and feel truly cared for.

How it Began.

In 2022, Kyla and Genieve, two passionate health practitioners and members of the LGBTQIA2S+ community, met by chance in Vancouver and bonded over their shared frustration with the barriers to healthcare. Both entrepreneurs, they envisioned a space where healing was accessible to all, regardless of cost, socio-economic status, race, gender or identity.

Two years later, they transformed a heritage building at 1151 West 8th Avenue into The Den Wellness —a non-clinical, inclusive hub for holistic health. When they stepped into the building, a vibrant rainbow arched overhead, signaling they were on the right path. With a commitment to equitable, compassionate care, Kyla and Genieve continue to foster a space where individuals can come together to heal and thrive.

Our Values.

  • The interconnectedness of the body, mind, spirit, and influencing external factors are at the forefront of our work. We are committed to comprehensive care that nurtures all aspects of wellbeing. Each person is a dynamic unit of function. Offering many modalities and services is crucial to cater to the ever changing needs of our patients and clients.

  • We embrace and celebrate the spiritual richness of diversity while firmly rejecting discrimination. We are committed to nurturing profound cultural humility.

  • Every being possesses inherent worth and contributions. Healing flourishes in supportive environments where needs are heard and respected. We are committed to fostering collaborative and unity to achieve collective goals.

  • A thoughtful, non-clinical environment that considers neurodiversity, sensory needs, and accessibility.

Our Mission.

At The Den Wellness Collective, our mission is to create a compassionate space where healing goes beyond traditional medical systems. We are dedicated to overcoming barriers by providing trauma-informed, personalized care that makes every patient and client feel valued and connected, not just as a case, but as part of a community. We’ve designed our space with intention, so when you walk through our doors, you feel at home, not in a waiting room. Our goal is to ensure you feel heard, seen, and deeply cared for — no matter how long you need to stay before or after your appointment.

We believe in the power of collaboration, offering a wide range of services so your practitioners can work together to build a comprehensive and holistic understanding of your unique needs. We recognize that your journey is ever-evolving, and our thoughtful approach allows us to meet you where you are, adjusting care as your needs change. At The Den, we are here for you, with warmth, understanding, and a commitment to helping you thrive.
