We utilize a client centred, integrative approach, drawing from therapies such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), narrative therapy, somatic practices, and trauma-informed techniques to support your holistic well-being. Relationship Counselling.
Our relationship counselling services are inclusive of all types of relationships—whether monogamous, polyamorous, ethical non-monogamy, familial, or friendships. We provide a safe, judgment-free space where you can explore and strengthen your connections. With an integrative approach using modalities like the Gottman Method, CBT, Narrative Therapy, NVC and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). We work together to enhance communication, improve emotional intimacy, heal wounds, navigate challenges and grow together. No matter the nature of your relationship, our goal is to support you in creating a healthier, more fulfilling bond based on respect, understanding, and growth.
Support Groups.
Our Support and Socials provide a unique blend of professional guidance and community connection. Each session includes 60 minutes of professionally supported time, facilitated by a member of our mental health team. During this time, we offer peer support moments, educational insights, and additional resources tailored to the collective challenges being discussed. After the session, we foster a casual social environment where participants can build connections, share experiences, and grow together in community. This combination of support and social time promotes healing, resilience, and a sense of belonging.

Our therapists are integrative with their approach. This means they use tools and techniques from many well researched modalities and therapies. A foundational piece to your experience at The Den is the relationship you and your counsellor have created.
The foundation of the co-creative exploration is Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). When needed to accelerate and support healing, techniques from Narrative Therapy, Feminist Therapy, Somatic Therapy, and Creative/Expressive Therapy are introduced, along with specialized self-development techniques for growth and expansion.
