Kyla Otto.

She/Her

M.OMSc. BSc. Kin, Co- Founder, Osteopathic Practitioner

Kyla's path to osteopathy is deeply personal and inspired by her mother’s diagnosis with an autoimmune liver disease. As Kyla witnessed the transformative impact of osteopathic treatment on her mother's recovery, she was inspired to pursue a career in osteopathy with a deep commitment to holistic healing. This powerful experience also shaped her final case study/thesis, where she explored the role of osteopathy in treating autoimmune conditions.

Before becoming an osteopathic practitioner, Kyla completed her undergraduate studies in Kinesiology at the University of Waterloo, where she was actively involved as a student athletic therapist for both the women’s volleyball and men’s hockey teams. This hands-on experience in sports medicine fueled her understanding of the body’s intricate systems and further sparked her interest in healing through movement and manual therapy.

Kyla went on to complete her osteopathic training at the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy, where she gained comprehensive knowledge and hands-on expertise in the field. With over five years of experience as an osteopath, Kyla has honed her skills in providing personalized care that addresses the unique needs of each patient, focusing on restoring balance and promoting long-term wellness.

Outside of her professional work, Kyla is passionate about travel, believing that experiencing life through the perspectives of others is one of the most enriching ways to grow as a person. She is also a proud dog owner and enjoys spending time with her two dogs, who bring her joy and balance.

Kyla’s mission is to continue making a positive impact in the lives of those seeking holistic care. With her unwavering dedication to patient well-being and her belief in lifelong learning, she remains committed to healing and helping others achieve their fullest potential.
